Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have, including how the loan request form on this site handles your information.
1. Who we are
FigureLoansApp ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at figureloansapp.com. We are an independent, advertising-supported review publication. We are not a lender, loan broker, or financial institution, and we are not affiliated with Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. or Figure Lending LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our website, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Information collected automatically. When you visit, our servers and analytics tools record standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information you send us directly. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information you enter in the loan request form. Our Apply page and homepage include a loan request form provided by a third-party lead-generation partner (see section 4). Information you type into that form, which may include your name, contact details, address, date of birth, income, employment, banking details, and Social Security number, is submitted directly to that partner. We do not store this information on our servers.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and secure the website
- To understand which pages are useful and improve our content
- To respond to messages and correction requests
- To measure referrals to partners and receive affiliate compensation
- To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information to make lending decisions. Lending decisions are made solely by lenders.
4. The loan request form and our partners
The loan request form is hosted and operated by a third-party lead-generation network. When you submit it, your information is processed under that network's own privacy policy and terms, which are presented within the form. The network may share your request with lenders and other financial service providers in its network so they can contact you with offers. Those companies may run credit checks, contact you by phone, text, or email, and use your information under their own privacy policies.
Submitting the form is optional. Review the disclosures and consent language shown inside the form before you submit it. Questions about information you submitted through the form should be directed to the form provider or to the lender that contacted you.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential: basic site operation and security
- Analytics: Statcounter, and Google Analytics if enabled, to measure traffic in aggregate
- Affiliate tracking: to attribute visits and applications to our site
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from reading the site. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing where required by state law.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:
- With service providers that host the site and provide analytics, under contracts limiting their use of the data
- With affiliate and lead-generation partners, for referral tracking and as described in section 4
- With law enforcement or regulators when required by law, or to protect our rights and users
- With a successor entity if the website is sold or merged
Under some state laws, sharing data with advertising or lead-generation partners can be considered a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out as described in section 8.
7. Data retention
Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months. After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized. We do not retain information entered into the loan request form.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access a copy of that information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
9. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, security headers, and access controls to protect the site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party websites
Our pages link to government agencies, review publications, and other external websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be noted on this page.
